Equipment and Installation
The ionKey source is available in 2 versions, depending on the type of MS instrument in use. The ToF based instrument source includes additional lock mass sample introduction for exact mass measurement.
Each source is supplied with sample, calibration and diagnostic iKeys, together with the necessary interconnecting tubing and cabling to attach the source to the existing MS instrument and M-Class UPLC system.
Where appropriate, new software, operation documentation and additional MS instrument paneling is also included.
The ionKey source is supported for use with M-Class UPLC systems for quadrupole instruments and both M-Class and nanoACQUITY UPLC systems for Tof based instruments. These instruments are listed below.
Installation, performance confirmation and operation training by a Waters Field Service Engineer is required.
Existing M-Class and nanoACQUITY UPLC systems must be fully operational to enable performance demonstration of the new ionKey source.
