UNIFI® Scientific Information System is a platform that merges LC and high performance MS data (both quadrupole and time-of-flight) into a single solution that encompasses data acquisition, processing, visualization, reporting, and configurable compliance tools within a networked laboratory.
For integration UNIFI supports:
- Importing sample lists and scientific library entries from Excel
- Manually export results into a variety of formats (.mzML, .mgf, .xls, .puf, .ics, .pkl, .raw)
- Integration into 3rd party applications such as Watson Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Market leading Empower® Chromatography Software is the corporate standard for instrument control, data acquisition, processing, and reporting. For integration, Empower provides a comprehensive data export functionality as standard and a fully featured API (Empower Toolkit). Standard functionality allows data to be exported in a configured manner either automatically or when manually initiated by a user. The Empower Toolkit allows more extensive integration and export of data through a rich set of features opening both data and functionality to software developers providing access to raw data, sample and result information, methods, user and project administration, and more.
MassLynx® Mass Spectrometry Software simplifies challenges with MS and MS/MS analysis, provides intelligent instrument control, and various sophisticated data processing applications. For integration, Masslynx has an API that allows third party applications the ability to read MassLynx .raw data files without the need to install MassLynx or any associated Application Managers.
NuGenesis® Lab Management System (LMS) uniquely combines data workflow and sample management capabilities to support the entire product lifecycle from discovery through manufacturing. For integration, NuGenesis has an Software Developers Kit (SDK) that connects NuGenesis to LIMS systems like Chemware and Labware. It also connects NuGenesis to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP and others, allowing for the creation of requests from those systems and returning results. From a high-level, the NuGenesis toolkit is a very robust way to send and retrieve data with new or existing systems to facilitate customer workflows.
The NuGenesis LMS SDK provides:
- Access to the platform’s documentation and procedure execution tools, sample registration, and inventory management systems
- Access to simple devices through Serial Device Support (SDS)
- Interaction with Waters Scientific Data Management System (SDMS) for printing
- reports with the virtual UNIFY printer; searching, filtering, and sorting reports and utilizes the use of extraction templates to extract data from reports
- Fully tested integrations with Waters products and systems, including Waters Analytical Workflow Manager (AWM), Empower, MassLynx, and NuGenesis Stability.
Symphony™ Software is a client server application that is triggered by MassLynx acquisition and allows the automation of one or several data handling or processing functions in a sequence. It accepts any executable, batch or script file that can be run from a Windows command line, along with scripts written in languages such as Python. There is no API available for this software, but the open architecture makes it very flexible to work with many different programs.
Waters Data Converter Software is an extension to Empower that allows you to import data from Waters MassLynx, Agilent ChemStation, PerkinElmer TotalChrom, and Thermo Atlas into Empower 2 and 3. Readable data types include LC and GC separations supporting chromatograms and UV DAD and MS detectors. Users can work manually or pre-set all parameters for automated data import.
