Accurate and Reliable Analysis
High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is a common technique used for the analysis of sugars in beverages. The use of HPLC allows for the separation of mono and disaccharides, providing information on the types of sugar present and quantities. Very little sample preparation is required for beverage samples prior to HPLC analysis, allowing for an accurate, reliable and efficient approach to ensure products are within specification and meet label claims. Using either the versatile Alliance HPLC System, or the latest generation of U(H)PLC Systems such as the ACQUITY ARC System, standardized procedures for the analysis of sugars are easily integrated into manufacturing quality control laboratories.
