Collection Control
The collection control interface allows the operator to perform different collection techniques:
- Collection of everything with time slicing
- Time-based collection of specific segments of the run
- Collection of eluent between triggered fractions
- Detector-triggered collection based on:
- Threshold
- Slope
- Slope and threshold
When large-volume samples require repetitive injections to be made and the fractions collected repeatedly into the same container, the collection protocol simply requires a single box to be checked in order to perform this task.
For low-flow applications, the operator can choose not to open and close the diverter valve between consecutive fractions, and so not run the risk of diverting valuable segments of sample to waste.
Fraction collection information is embedded into Empower Software datasets and is available in a comprehensive report. The report can be viewed in an electronic format and saved to the database.
Comprehensive reporting is available using Empower Software.
