Simple and Easy to Use

Waters Beverage Analysis Kit was specifically designed for non-chemist personnel, such as onsite bottler quality control workers, to perform quick and accurate analysis of 6 commonly used additives (acesulfame-K, saccharin, caffeine, benzoate, sorbate, and aspartame) in drink formulations to ensure final product quality and improve manufacturing efficiency. This kit is simple and easy to use, and can be used in conjunction with a UPLC or HPLC system. A comprehensive Certificate of Analysis that includes uncertainty values and verification testing information is included.  

Kit Contents

Waters Beverage Analysis Kit includes:

• Four 100 mL bottles, each containing acesulfame-K (150 mg/L), saccharin (100 mg/L), caffeine (100 mg/L), benzoate (200 mg/L), sorbate (100 mg/L)
• Four bottles, each containing 50 mg aspartame powder
• Four 1 L bottles of mobile phase
• Four 1 L bottles of wash solvent

The kit contains sufficient reagents for 1 month of typical analysis usage. The kit requires an LC column, which is not included in the kit, but Waters recommends:

For HPLC and UPLC Systems: XBridge BEH Phenyl XP, 2.5 μm, 4.6 x 50 mm Column (p/n 186006073)

For UPLC Systems: ACQUITY UPLC BEH Phenyl, 1.7 μm, 2.1 x 100 mm Column (p/n 186002885)
