Additionally, it interacts with the NuGenesis SDMS (data archival) component, Waters Laboratory Acquisition Control Environment (LAC/E) devices, SAP, and Empower.

Easily create scientific documents from predefined templates with NuGenesis ELN and easily adapt to existing workflows in your lab. You can add selected content to these documents by interactively or automatically extracting information from NuGenesis SDMS, Empower, MassLynx, or other applications.
NuGenesis ELN includes messaging, project and team organization, document review features, customizable reporting capabilities, and a powerful search engine. You can conveniently drag and drop existing documents like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDFs into NuGenesis ELN. There are also built-in inventories for instruments and reagents, so you can keep track of reagent and solution consumption, instrument use, and calibration. This includes an automatic sync with Empower to receive the Empower Instrument list.

Searching with NuGenesis ELN is easy and powerful. With NuGenesis ELN, users can easily create a query against both single and multiple databases to locate data that otherwise would take hours or days to find by looking through paper documentation. Searches can be as broad or as specific as you need. Search capabilities include document content, metadata (data about data), administrative information, and structure/spectrum search.
Easily access your key information
NuGenesis ELN automatically imports information, enabling your lab to integrate captured information from the NuGenesis SDMS repository into NuGenesis ELN documents or integrate content managed by other software, like spreadsheet programs, structure editors, image editors, statistics software, word processing software, and text, reports, and comments.
Moreover, file data, whether from the file system or from instrument servers, can be uploaded manually or automatically via the NuGenesis SDMS data repository, which takes advantage of integrated agents for file capture, file parsing, and metadata extraction.
NuGenesis ELN also provides open interfaces to other information systems, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) like SAP, and chemistry related information systems like instrument and chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower and MassLynx Software).
