PDA detection for spectral exposure optimization

PDA detection for spectral exposure optimization

Getting accurate and complete spectral information to make better decisions about your analysis can be a challenge. The ACQUITY UPLC and ACQUITY Premier Photodiode Array (PDA) eλ Detectors enable a laboratory to detect and quantify lower concentrations of sample analytes as well as compare spectra across the ultraviolet and visible wavelengths, allowing analyses encompassing a broader concentration range.

The detectors meet multiple UPLC-MS detection strategy requirements and provide the ability to map low levels of compounds and determine trace impurity levels within a compound’s peak.

Unmatched sensitivity with enhanced flexibility

The Waters ACQUITY UPLC and ACQUITY Premier PDA eλ Detectors are specifically designed to complement Performance UHPLC/UPLC Systems. These detectors have data rates up to 80 Hz, noise specifications of ±3 μAU, and sensitivity that is unmatched by any other photodiode array detector on the market. Further, enhanced software control provides flexibility for simultaneous 2D and 3D operations in Empower or MassLynx software.

Optimal performance across the entire spectrum range

The expanded wavelength range of the ACQUITY UPLC and ACQUITY Premier PDA eλ Detectors provides for highly sensitive spectral information in the visible region. Noise performance in lower energy regions of the deuterium spectrum is improved while maintaining optimal performance across the entire range.
