The glass capillary (1.9 x 100 mm) is either dipped into the sample, or the sample is pipetted onto the glass capillary, then placed into the RADIAN ASAP sample holder and inserted into the ASAP source which triggers data acquisition. A new glass capillary should be used for each sample analysis, and it is recommended these are cleaned before use with the automated in-built bake out procedure.
