Title: Production Controller
Location: Taunton, Massachusetts
Diane’s role facilitates and improves process flows in our Taunton Manufacturing Facility. Daily tasks for Diane include working with manufacturing leadership to remove obstacles that may slow production. In this position, Diane has been able to define the job responsibilities and become familiar with all the aspects of the manufacturing business. Each day presents its own challenges, but that’s what makes the work rewarding and unique.

What made you interested in working at Waters?
I applied to Waters while attending a chemical technologies certificate program and was hoping to gain some interviewing experience in the field of science. When I received a call with a job offer, I was thrilled to receive the opportunity from a company with such a good reputation. I have now been at Waters for 18 years.
What keeps you motivated and excited about working at Waters?
It’s an awesome feeling to know that we are providing a product that betters people’s lives. To know that our instruments help scientists and researchers make the world a safer and healthier place is extremely rewarding.
What are some of the most interesting projects you’ve worked on?
I work with all departments from planning through manufacturing up to Quality Control Final Testing to see that first quality products are delivered on time to our customers. When issues arise or urgency increases, I get to solve problems and improve processes to help keep us on schedule.
How would you describe the culture at Waters?
The culture at Waters is one of collaboration and teamwork. There is a sense of family and that we are all on the same team, working toward the same positive result.
