2024

Ensure viral vector quality with Waters LC and MS solutions for characterization and routine analysis.

SelectScience Scientists’ Choice Awards recognized Waters content hub, “A Complete Guide to PFAS Analysis,” in their Analytical Science Innovative Content of the Year category. The campaign explores comprehensive analytical solutions and methods that deliver high-quality ultra-trace quantification and provide confidence in PFAS data so that it can easily meet regulatory requirements today and in the future.

Our President and CEO, Dr. Udit Batra, was recognized in this year’s list of the Worcester Business Journal’s most influential professionals in the Central Massachusetts business community for the category of Global Business. 

As part of their Business of Pride event, the BBJ selects a LGBT Trailblazer that has an established track record of accomplishments in their field as well as active engagement in the community, particularly regarding LGBT issues. Waters Chief Information Officer, Brook Colangelo, is the 2024 honoree.

Waters earned the prestigious Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency (ACT) Label for two of our tandem quadrupole mass spectrometers: Waters Xevo TQ-S cronos and Waters Xevo TQ-S micro for their lower overall environmental impact.

Waters was recognized as the 2024 winner, as a company that has made strides to reduce its carbon footprint and become more eco-friendly, either through its operations or its products.

Waters Principal, Continuous Improvement Deployment Manager, Sonya Wilson-Thomas, was recognized as the 2024 winner, as an individual who has worked to improve and support the manufacturing industry in this region.

The Chromatographic Society conferred its highest honor, the Martin Medal, to Waters Research Senior Principal Scientist, Fabrice Gritti.

The Science History Institute — 22nd Annual Pittcon Heritage Award was presented to Wyatt Technology Corporation founder, Philip J. Wyatt. This award recognizes individuals in the instrumentation and laboratory supply industries who, through their entrepreneurship and innovations, have provided scientists and technologists with the tools needed for discovery.

Waters was included by Barron’s as one of the top 100 most sustainable companies in 2024 that achieved the highest scores across hundreds of ESG metrics, ranging from workplace diversity to greenhouse-gas emissions.

Waters was listed in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for scoring within the top 15% of our industry and achieving a S&P Global ESG Score within 30% of our industry’s top-performing companies.



2023

The Waters Board of Directors was named as the 2024 “Public Company Board of the Year” for its exceptional corporate knowledge, leadership, and governance.

The Waters Alliance iS HPLC System was selected as a part of this year’s top 15 innovations. The Alliance iS HPLC instrument is recognized for its advancements within the industry.

Waters was named to the DJSI for the third consecutive year, based on the strength of its enterprise-wide ESG practices. The DJSI is informed by the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), an annual evaluation of companies' sustainability practices. 

Waters earned the prestigious Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency (ACT) label for its Waters Xevo TQ Absolute System providing independent validation for its sustainable product innovation, manufacturing, packaging operation, and end-of-life.

The Waters DynaPro ZetaStar instrument was recognized in the 2023 Medicine Maker product showcase for its contributions to the pharmaceutical industry.

Waters was selected by Newsweek as one of America's Most Responsible Companies, which encompasses environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) along with a core idea that businesses should support the communities in which they belong. 

Waters was the recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, scoring 100 on the HRC Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index.

Waters earned the Silver Medal and is among the top 25 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis for business sustainability ratings.

Waters Xevo G3 QTof System was awarded for Analytics Solution of the Year. The judging panel recognized Xevo G3 QTof for its capabilities and diverse array of features, transforming the landscape of scientific research and exploration.

Our Chief Information Officer, Brook Colangelo, was named to Outstanding’s 2022 List of top LGBTQ+ executives.

Our President and CEO, Dr. Udit Batra, was named to PharmaVoice’s annual “Red Jacket List” recognizing leaders who are raising the bar for transformative leadership in life sciences.

Szabolcs Fekete, a consulting scientist at Waters, won the 2022 HTC Innovation Award. Fekete was honored at the Hyphenated Techniques and Separations Technology (HTC-17) conference in Ghent, Belgium for his outstanding contributions to the field of separation science.
