Allen Caswell
Allen Caswell, Ph.D. is the Senior Director of Research Informatics at Waters Corporation. Allen received his degree in Analytical Chemistry from Virginia Tech before joining Waters in 1989. Since then he has held several roles in the Informatics and Research organizations. As one of the original software developers working on Empower (Millennium), Allen spent several years developing the Empower reporting capabilities. Subsequent to this, Allen was heavily involved in the UNIFI development effort and now leads the Research Informatics group, looking at future directions for Waters software, algorithms, and instrument control.
